Present in the shipbuilding market since the 1930’s, in 1994 a specific Marine Division was created ( which in 2004 has joined Architecture Division) with the scope of achieving organisation and production processes which respond with increasing rapidity to market demands. The Architecture Section offers integrated solutions for false ceilings, decorative elements and other accessories dedicated to the naval sector. The active control of every phase (design, production, logistics, installation) not only allows optimization of the cost of the single product or service, but also of the entire system. This results in the creation of maximum possible value for clients. The know-how and application of all solutions and technologies in the field allow SADI POLIARCHITETTURA to offer rapid replies, certainty of results and overall control of the costs right from the preliminary design engineering. Mastering of product technologies and of production processes, which are an integral part of the company culture, brings about innovation, technological leaps, and conception of new construction systems. Surface treatments: • Protective treatments such as galvanising, painting, chroming, passivating processes. • Esthetical treatments such as painting, imitations of wood, marble, scenic effects, fancy patterns. Gypsum: • Standard gypsum. • Glass Reinforced Gypsum. • Composite materials, gypsum and resin amalgams. • Special mixes for particular applications, with characteristics such as resistance, lightness, resistance to fire, simulation of other materials. Wood: • Implementation of wood finishings (MDF). • Replacement of wood with other perfectly similar materials, so as to reduce fire risk. Glass: • Use of special glass for skylights. • Creation of special lamps and chandeliers. Plastics: • Production of minor accessories for assembly and finishing. Panel or strip ceilings for cabins having B0-B15-B30 characteristics, in accordance with IMO Resolution MSC 61(67) (FTP Code) and 98/95/EC Commission Directive. Special custom-made ceilings, with integration of metal, gypsum, composite materials. Ceilings with acoustic features such as insulation and absorption. Gypsum ceilings, panelled or with continuous and complex surfaces (domes, height variations), with possibility of decorated or treated surfaces. Ceilings and decorations in composite materials, possessing better characteristics with respect to gypsum (weight, resistance) or to wood (fire risk factor, ease of shaping).
